Surf Life Saving Sydney (SLSS) is one of the largest volunteer community movements in Australia with in-excess of 20,000 members within our 15 Surf Life Saving Clubs from North Bondi to Burning Palms, representing 25 per cent of the total New South Wales Surf Life Saving membership.
Our primary role is saving lives on our beaches through our frontline services. However, Surf Life Saving Sydney is an expansive organisation that delivers education and training to our members and the greater community year round through Youth and Member Development Programs, Surf Sports Carnivals, and Drowning Prevention Measures through Community Education.
Our movement is proud to develop and foster surf survival skills, participation & inclusiveness and social & leadership skills of our junior members through our Nippers programs to ensure the continued strength and sustainability of our movement and community into the future.
