Our Youth scheme prepares our members for lifesaving through tailor made programs, within surf sports, education and patrolling, all in a fun environment.

Youth Members from across the Sydney Clubs come together annually for our Development Camp. These camps educate, inspire, engage and develop our young members across all areas of Surf Life Saving. The weekend involves activities and events in the Royal National Park for our members, over two nights, with no shortage of exciting and entertaining experiences.

SLS Sydney run a number of Clinics throughout the season, focusing on specific areas within Surf Life Saving, which allow our Youth members to experience and upskill in these fields. Whatever your interest in Lifesaving, our clinics will give you a taste.

Our Youth team are a social bunch, with frequent catch ups and networking opportunities. These are generally circulated through our internal networks, which our members become part of once they have participated in one of our Camps or Clinics.

The Child Safe Program assists Surf Life Saving (SLS) in our commitment to the protection of Children and Young People (CYP) from abuse, harm and exploitation.

All our activities involved with our Youth require a Working with Children Check. Find out what you need to do to be able to support our Youth as well.
