Lifesaving is our core business.

Our volunteer surf lifesavers patrol Sydney’s beaches every weekend and public holiday from the September school holidays to ANZAC Day, keeping locals and visitors safe when visiting the beach.

Skills Maintenance

Each year, patrolling members along Sydney’s beaches participate in skills maintenance activities to refresh and update their knowledge and skills ready for the new season.

Patrol Operations

Our members patrol Sydney’s coastline ensuing our beaches remain safe and secure.  They do so with a suite of support and guidance that enable focus to remain on our communities.

Many exceptional rescues and first aids performed each year by our members are over and above normal duties and showcase excellence in lifesaving training, skills and procedures.

Gear Inspection

Each season, we ensure all Surf Clubs are fully equipped and compliant, ready to patrol our beaches and save lives.  This includes our annual Pre-Season Gear Inspection, enabling our clubs to have only the best equipment on hand during patrol.
